Mental.iiealth Service has been es~ablished pursuant to the provi-
szons of the Short-Doyle Act (Welfare and Tnstitutions Code,
Seeta.on 9000); and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte desires to apply for
state ~unds for ~the continuation of a county mentalhealth program
pursuant to the provisions of the Short-Doyle Act,
NOW, TTiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super~
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, that the attach-
ed application for Short-DoyZe Ac~. funds, incl.uding the plans for
said program and the budget therefor, be, and the same are hereby
approved, and the Bu~te County Mental Health Director is directed
to fil~ the same with the Departmen~ ot ~Iental Hygiene of the State
of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7~h day of April , 1970,
