Resolufion RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLiJTION N0. ~2_5 RULES AND PROCEDURES R E D 2N S TION F~ WI-~EREAS, this Board has determined that the e~fec~iveness of the classified service w~ii be promoted if earned vacation is credited annua7.ly at the end of each calendar year rather than each fiscal year, NOW, T'f~EREFORE, SE IZ' RE~OLVED that Section 9.1 of Resolution 62-5 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "9.1 VACATION. Each er~ployee in the c~.assified service s all e entitled to a vacation. Employees with less than five (5) years service sha11 be entitled to a vacation~of 5/6 of a working day per month. Employees who have compl.eted five (5) years of cor3.tinuous service by Ju~.y l, 1965, or upon reaching their fifth anniversary of continuaus service shall be entitled to a vacation of 14 working days per month. Earned vacation shall be credited annually at the' end of each calendar year and may be accumulated ~o a total of not more ~han 20 working days for employees with less than five (5) yea~s service and 30 working days for employees with more than five (5) years continuous service. An employee who has less than one year of uninterrupted service shall not be entitled to a vacation or to vacation pay on separation from the classified servzce. Employees who work less than fu11 time shall earn vacation credits on a prorated basis."
