R~SOLVE~• That Clif~on Mickelson, Administrative Ofticer is hereby
authorized and desi.gnated as the representative of the GounCy of Butte ,
State of California, to sign and present an application on iCS behaif to the Department
of Veterans Affairs of the State of California for State moneys under Section 972 of
the Military and Veterans Code, State of California, Chapter 1493, Statutes of 1945;
and be i t
Fl1RTHER RESOI.VED; That said representative is hereby authorized and designated to
execueive an agreement on behalf of said County with said Department of Veterans
Affairs covering the terms and conditions under which any amount of State moneys-,
is to be granted to the said County; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: That the amount of State moneys to be allotted will be determined
by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and matching funds may be provided by the
County in the proportions as required by agreement with aaid Department.

to be determined by tMe ~epartment of Veterans Affairs, to carry out the
activities authorized by Sections 971 and g72 nf the Military and Veterans
Code of the State of California for the period of July 1, 1970 to June 30,
1971.
A copy of a Resolution adopted by the County Board of Svpervisors authorizing
this application is hereby attached to and made a part of this application.
