recommend to the Legislature the salary rates for the Chico
Municipal Caurt employees,
~IOW THEREFORE BE I'F RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of ttze Cownty of Butte as follows:
1. 'That the Board respectfully recommands that the
following legislation be passed:
74936. Clerk; compensation
There sha11 be one clerk who shal~ receive the sa7ary
specified in range No. 13.0.
74937. Clerk; deputy clerks; appoin~ment; compensation
'The clerk may appoint two typist-cleric IiI who sha11 be
, deputy cJ.erks and shaTl receive the salary specified in range
No. 10.0; there sna11 be one stenographer-c1er1~ zZ who shall
be a deputy clerk and shall receive the salary spec~.fied in
range No, 9.0, and ~wo clerk II, whoshall also be deputy clerks
and sha~l receive the salary specified in range No. 8.0.
Additional deputy clerks may be appointed as are required,
with the consent of the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, and shall receive the salary specified in range
No, 8,0.
74938. Marshal; compensation
There shall be one marshal who sha11 receive the salary
specified in range No. 19.5.
74939. ~?axshal; deputy marshal; clerk; appointment; compen-
sation
Tk~e marshal ~nay appoint one deputy knarshal who shall
receive the salary specified in range No. 15.5 and one
stenograpkier-clerk II who shall receive the-salary specified
in range 9.0, and who shall serve as cleric to the marshal.
With the consen~ of the Board of Supervisors of the County of
ButtE, the marshal may appoint additional deputies as is
requi~red, which additional deputies shall receive the salary
specified in range No. 15.5.
74940. Salary schedule
Whenever reference is made to a range in any section of
this ar~icle, the following schedule of monthly sa~aries shall
apply:
