WHEREAS, the said weeds endanger the public safety
by creating a fire hazard;
WHEREAS, the said weeds grow in a seasonal and recurrent
manner;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board gursuant
to its au~hority vnder Part 5, Division I2 of the Health and
Sa~ety Code, that the said weeds constitute and are hereby
declared to be a seasonal and recurrent public nuisance;
BE IT FURTHER RESOZVED, that notice be given to owners
of the progerty upon which or in front of~ which said weeds are
growing that said weeds constitute a public nuisance which mus~
be abated by the removal of said noxious or dangerous weeds,
otherwise they will be removed and the nuisan.ce will be abated
by the County of Butte, in which case the cost of such removal
shall be assessed upon the lots and lands from which or in front
of which said weeds are removed, and such cost wi11 constitute
upon such ].ots or lands until paid, and that all property owners t'°•'
having any objecti.ons to the proposed removal of such weeds

I3UISANCE AND AUTHORIZING ABATEMENT THEREOF
be no~ified to attend a meeting of this Board to be held on
Tuesday, July 28, 1970, at 11:00 aoma, Supervisors Chambers,
Courthouse, 4raville, California, when their objections will
be heard and given due considerationo
BE I~ ~URTHER RESOLVED, that the Butte County
Agricultura~ Commissioner, or such pe~son as he designates and
appoints as his representative for such purposes, is hereby
designated as the person to give notice to dest~oy weeds.
BE IT FURTEIER RESOLVED, that "weeds" as used in this
Resolution includes aZl. weeds as defined in Health and Safety
Code Section 14875.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of July, I970, by the
