State of Ca3.ifornia, has undertaken special assessment proceedings
foz the improvements and acquisitions to be nzade in Paradise Pines
Assessment District t1o. 1, Uni~s l and 2, But~.e County, California;

kHEIt~1~s, the own~rs of mor~ than sixty per cent {G0%) of
the ~eal property within the boundaries of said proposed assessment
district ha~re waived all proceeciinc~s under the Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majori~.y Pro~est Ac~ of 193I;
. 230W, THEREFORF, BF IT 22~SOLVEb by the Board of Supervisors
o~ the County of Butte, State of California, tha~ Tuesday, ~he 25th
day of August, 1970, at the hnur of 11:00 o'clnck A.M, of said day,
is i;.ereby fixed as the daX and hour, and the rneeting place of the
Board of Supervisors af the County of Butt2, located in the Butte
County Courthouse, OrovilJ,e, California, as the place, when and
where any and all persons interested may appear and show cause why
fihe Board of Supervisors should not find arid determine ~hat the public
convenience and necessity require the said proposed imorovements and
acguisitions to be made in said Paradise Pines Assessment IIistrict
No. 1, Units 1 and 2, Butte County, Califcrnia, without compliance
with the pr.ovisions of the Special Assessment Investigation, Limita-
tion and•Majority Pro~est Act of 1931.
The Cour~ty Clerk is hereby direc~ed ~o give notice of the
