23 any liability which may result in the evene the right of wap is not cleax as

2~ way not being clear as certified, the County of Butte agrees that, at the re-
26 quest of the State, it will assume full responsibility for the conduct of the
2~ defense or provide such assistance as the state may require and will pay any
