WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Paxadi~ Recreation
and Park District of Butte County , Ca].i~ornia, have called and
ordered to be held ~.n sai.d d~.str~.ct on the 3rd day of November,
1970, special districr elections, and have requested th~.s board
to order con,sol.i.datiox~ of said special dis~ric~ elections wirh
the statewide General Election#fl be hel.d November 3, 1970,
NOF1, THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLUED BY THE Bt)ARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
as follows:
1. That tl~e special district election to be held in
the Paradise Recreation District on Navember 3, 197d, at which
election there shall be submitted to the qualified electors
of said dist~ict the names of the candidates for said board,
are to be consolidated wi~h the statewide election to be held
on November 3, 1970.
2. That the returns of said special district elec~ion
for the Paradise Recreation District shall be canvassed, or
caused to be, by the Cotu~ty Clerk of Batte County, and certified
to the governing boa~d of the dis~rict. Further, said con-
solidated special district election of Paradise Recreation
District shall be held in a11 respects as though th.ey were on].y
one election.
3, That the expenses of the elections attributable to
said districts shaJ.l be charged to said districts respectively.

HEREBY authorizing the Butte County Clerk to conduct
the election for the Paradise Recreation and Park District
~ AND request that the County consolidate the Recreat~on
and Park District ballot with the generai election ballot
at the November 3, 1970 general election.
