NOW,.THEREFOI:E, B~ IT RESOLVED by this Board pursuant
to its authority under Part 5, Division 12 of the Health and
Safety Code, that the said weed.s constitute and are hereby
declared to be a seasonal and rec~srrent publzc nuisance;
BE IT ~URTHER RESOLVED, that notice be given to owners
of th.e property upon which or in front of which said weeds are
growing that said weeds constitute a public nuisance which must
be abated by the removal of said noxious or dangerous t,reeds,
otherwise they wi11 be removed and the nuisance will be abated
RESOLtJTION:;DECLARING CERTAIN W~;EDS A
NUISANCE AI~TD AUTHORIZING ABATEMENT TH~RFAF
by the County of Butte, in which case the cost of such removal
sha11 be assessed upon the lots and lands from which or in front
of which said weeds are removed, and such cost will constitute
upon such lots or lands ~ntil paid, and that all property owners
having any objections to the proposed removal of such weeds
be notified to attend a meeting of this Board to be held on
Tuesday, September ~,1970, a~ 11:00 a.m,, Supervisors Chambers,
Courthouse, Oroville, California, when their objections wi11
be heard and given due consideration.
B~ I~ FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Butte County
Agricultural Commissioner, or such person as he designates and
appoints as his representative for such purposes, is hereby
designated as the person to give notice to destroy weeds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that "weeds" as used in this
Resolution includes all weeds as defined in Health and Safety
Code 5ection 14875.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of August, 1970, by the
Butte County Board. of Supervisors, by the following vote:
