Code Section 71040, et seq., the Board of Sapervisors has the
responsibility of determination of consolidat~on or annexation of
judicial districts,
WHEREAS, this Board finds that there is ample justifica-
tion for the consoiidation of the Biggs ~udicial District with the
Gridley Judicial District,
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RE50LVED by the Board of S~per-
visors:
1. That a public hearing shall be held at 11:00 a.m.,
September 22, 1970, at the Chambers o~ the Board of 5uper-
visors, Courthouse, Oroville, California, on the proposed
conso~idation of the Biggs Judicial District with the
Gridley Judicial District.
2. That this resolution shall be advertised in the
Gridley Herald , pursuant to Section 606I
no later than September 3, 1970.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisa~s of the
County of Butte this 25th day ot August, 1970, by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisor Howsden, Supervisor MclCillop, Chairman Dunaway
