~ BOARD OF SUPEAUISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE~ STATE OF CALIFOANIA
RESOLUTIOI~ FIXII~G TAX RATES IN THE COUNTY OF BTJTTE
(Government Code Sections 29100 to 29109 Inclusive}
WfiEREAS, the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE CQUIQTY Ofi BU'FTE, STATE OF
CALIFOANTA, did at a regular meeting of said Board, and after due and proper
notice as requixed by law, by resolution adopt a final budget for the COI)NTY
OF BUTTE fox the fiscal year 1970-71~ which said Resolution is on file in
the Office of the Clerk of Said County; and
WHEREAS, it i.s encumbent upon said Board~ in accordance with Article
, 5, Division 3, Ti~1e 3(being Sections 29100 to 29109 inclusive, of the
Government Code) to by z~esolution fix ~he tax rate of said County for the
fiscal year 19'70-71;
NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT RESOT.VED BY THE BOARD OF SUPEAVISORS OP THP
COUNTY OF Bt3TTE~ SrATE OF CALIFORNIA, RS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Board does hereby fix the rates o£ county and distric~
taxes on the secured roll of said County Por the fiscal year 1970-1971 by
designating the number of cents levied for each fund on each One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) of taxable value in the County of Butte for the fiscal year
1970-1971 as is hereinafter set forth. The designated rates as hereinafter
set forth are such as will produce, after due allowance for delinquency as
£ixed by 1aw or as hereinaf~ter fixed by this Board and 'zn the same manner as
tax rates are fixed, the amount found by deducting from the total appropria-
tions and reserves:
(a) The amount of estimated revenue from other sources.
(b) Available surplus.
2. In addition to any othex allowance for delinquency as fixed by
law or this Board, a sum ec(ual to five per cen~ (5%) of the assessed valuation
o£ the iocal secured roll anci the local unsecured ro11 is hereby determined as
the allowance for delinquency. Said allawance for delinquency shall not apply
to ~he u~ilities roll.
3. The designated rates of County and district taxes on the secured
roll, as hereinbefore mentioned, are as follows, -~owit:
