HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-157RESOLUTTOI~I OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER AND HOLD HEARIlVGS ON A RESOL~(7'T~ON OF INTII~ITION TO ESTABLISH A C4UNTY SERVICE AREA WHEREAS, two members of the Board of Supervisors o~' the County of Butte have requested ~he establishment of a county service area for the purpose of conducting studies, preparation of plans and specifications, and the constructi.on and maintenance of drainage facilities, the boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof by x~e~exence; and WHEREAS, prior to the considerati.on of the Board of Supervisors and the Resolution of Intention, i~ is necessary to obtain ~he comment of the Local :~gency Formation Commission, NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE I~ RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that they intend to consider a Resolution o~ Intention to establish a county service area for the purpose of conductin~ studies, preparation o~' pl.ans and specifications, and the construction and maintenance of dxainage facilities contained within the boundaries described in Exhibit "~-1,", attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. BE IT F`URTHER RESOLVED that by this reso~.ution the Board of Supervisors submit the proposal to the Local Agency Formation Commission for their actions at their next regular~.y held mee~ing.
