IT IS ~IEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors oi the County of
Butte, State of Calzfornia, tkaat Chairman o:f tha Board is hereby authorized
and directed to execute Right-of-Way Certification No. 2, for Oroville Quincy
Highway F~nergency Rel.ief Project 660 (1) dated ~eptember 15 _, 1970,
irz the name of the County o£ Butte.
Be it further resolved that the County of Butte agrees to hold the
State of Cal.ifornia harm].ess from any liability which may result in the event
the righ.t of way is not clear as certif'ied. If the S~tate is named in a damage
suit, as a res€~1t of the right of wa~r not being clear as certified, the County
of Sutte agrees tktat, at the request of the Sta-~e, it will assume full respon-
sibility for the conduct o£ the defense or provide such assistance as the
State ma.y require and wi11 pay any judgments issued against the State and a].1
costs in connection with the defense.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of -~he County of Butte,
State of Galifornia at the regular meeting thereof on the „ 1 5~h day
