DAME~GE DECE[IBER 1, 1969 TIiROUGH 3ULY 1, 1970
W~iEREAS, the Board of Supervi.sors of the County o£ Butte an the 27th
day o~ Nlay 1970, adopted a resolution ~~70-74 maki.ng application to the State
of California -epartment of Finance tor funds £or the repair and restoration
o~ roads, sCreets and bridges pursuant to provisions of the Emergency Flood
Relief Law, Sections 54150-54164 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the work covered by said app].i.cation has been investigated by
the State of California Aepartment of Public Works and a report thereon filed
with the Department o~ Finance and said report has been approved by the
Director of Finance; and
WHIItEAS, ik i.s necessary and expedient that COUNTY OF BTITTE enter z.nto
an agreement wi.th said DEPAR'PMENT OF ~tFBT,xC WORKS with reference to pexformance
and financing of said work and ottaex matters related thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE BE :IT RESOLV~D by the Board o£ Supervisors o~ the County
of Butte thaC the County enter into an agreement with the sai.d Department of
Publ.ic Works, a copy of whicfn agreement is attached hereto; and
BE IT FUR~IiER RESOLVED that Chairman o£ Board of Supexvisors is hereby
authorized to execute said agreement in the name of County of Butte.
