RESOLUTION EXCHANGINC REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHQRIZING CHAIRMAIV TO SIGN
GRANT DEED
EAST AVEN[TE EXTENSION (ESPLANADE TO N6RD)
Ti1f1EREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
Californ.ia, on May 26, 'f970, approved the Agreement For Sale exchanging that
real property described in the Grant -eed, attached hereto, as part o£ the con-
siderati.on for that certain real property described in E~rhibit "A<<, ~.tt~.~nea
Ihereto; and
WHEREAS, said property, fu].7.y described in the Grant Deed is not re-
quired for count~ use; and
WiiEREAS, said real property described in Exhibit ~'A" attached hereto,
is necessary for the public and the county use as•sight of way; and
in~fiE~REAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
WIiEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, on September 15, 1970, accepted the
Grant Deed from Tho.-nas R. Bragdon, Jr. and Zoe Ann Bragdon in favor o~' the County
of Butte, covering that certain real property described in Exhibit f°A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVE- by the Board o£ Supervisors o£ the Count
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. The Board hereby exchanges the real propexty described in the Grant
Deed, attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that
certain real property shown in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incor-
porated herein as if set forth in fu11.

2. The Chairman is authorized to sign said Grant Deed in,favor of
Thotnas R. Bragdon, Jr. and Zoe Ann Bragdon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,

All that certain real property situate a.n the County of Butte, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a 3/4 inch iron pipe marking the most easterly corner of that certain
parcel of land conveyed to Thomas R. Bragdon, Jr., et ux, by deed recorded April 35,
19b9, in Book 1562 at Page 433, Butte County Official Records; ~hence from said point
of beginning S 52°30'31"W along the southea5texly line of said Bragdon parcel 290.Q
feet to the most southerly corner o£ said parcel; thence N37°29'29"W, along the
southwesterly line o£ said parcel 41.00 feet; thence north 52°30'31"E 270.l~0 Peet;
thence along the arc of a tangent 20.00 foot radS.us curve, concave to the west, through
a central angle of 90°00'00" fbr 31.42 ~eet to a point of cusp on the southwzsterly
right of way line of the Esplanada (formerly known as Shas~ta Road, 80 feet wide);
thence S 37°29'29°~ along said right of way la.ne, 61.00 feet to the point of beginning.
