RESOLUTION OVERRULiNG PROTESTS
~aH~REAS. on ~he 11Lh day ot August, 1970, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of But~e, State of Cali forn~a, adopted
i~s resolution fixing time and place for hearing on the Engineer's
Re~ort in Paradise Pines Unit No. 3 Assessment District, Butte Cpunty,
California; and
S~HEEtEAS, said resolution fixed the 22nd day of September,
1970, a~ the hour of ~1:30 o'clock A.M. of.said day at the meet-
ing place of the Board of Supervisors of ~he County of Bu~te, loca-
ted in the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, as the
time and place for hearing protests wi~h relation to the pxoposed
impaovements and acquisztions described in the Engineer's Report,
the grades to which the work wi11 be done, the extent of ~he assess-
m~nt district, the assessment or the Engineer`s Estimate of Cost ,
and expenses, or any other act or determination of the Engin~~r of
Wor~ of said assessment district; and
WFIEf2EAS, protests or ob~ections were filed in writ-
ing by certain persons, firms or corpozations who were interested
in cextain of the property within the boundazi.es of said district,
which said protes~s or objections were delivered to the County Clerk
not later than the hour set for hearing such objections; and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests
and objections, said Board of Supervisors ot the Caunty of Butte
proceeded to hear the same, and all of the protests or objections
of every kind and nature having been heard and duly considered;
NOPI, THEREFOFtE, iT IS H~REBY I2BSOLVED by the Board
of Supervisozs of the County o~ Butte, S~ate of California, th~t
all of said protests and objectians of every kind or nature be,
and the same are tiereby, overruled or denied; and

iT IS HEREBY FUT2TH~R RESOLVED that the Board of Sup~r-
visors finds ~hat said protests and objections are made by the owners
of less than one--half of tYce area of the property to be assessed
for said improvements.
