WHEREAS, a public hearing, for whictz reasonable
notice has been given by publication~ has been held as to the
public convenience and necessity of the improvements and acquisi-
tians in Paradise Pines Unit No. 3 Assessment District, Butte
Coun~y, California; and
WHER~AS, this.Board.of Supervisors has heard and
considered alI the evidence, both ora1. and written. relative
to the public convenience and necessity o£ the construc~ion of
the aforesaid imnrovements;
NOW,~THBREFORE, B~ IT RESQLVED that this Baard finds
and de~.ermines that the public convenience and necessa.ty re- ~
quire the improvements and acquisit5.ons in Paradise Pi.nes Unit No. 3
Assessment District, Butte County, Ca].a.fornia, and furth.er
determines that the "Special Assessmen~ Inves~.igation, La.mi-_
tation and Majority P~otest Act of 1931." shall not app].y to
these assessment proceedings; ancl
BE IT F'URTHER R~SOLVED that this project shall pro~
ceed in accordan~e with the terms and provisions of the Muni-
cipal Improveinen~ Act of 19i3. ,
