~ BE IT R~SOLVEA by the Board o~ Supervisors of the Gounty
of Butte, State o~ Cali~ornia, as follows:
The Dir~ctor of Public ti~orks without £urther authorizat.ion
~f ~he ~3oard of Supervisors is hereby authorized ~o order changes
in the work to be done in Parada.se Pines Unit No. 3 Assessment
Dis~rict, Bu~.te County, California, under the foilowing conditions:
To correct clerical and technicak errors a.n the plans;
To modify th~ design of the project wherever good
enqineering practic~ indicates that the modif.ication
should be made;
To adjust the design of the project to uta.Xity loca-
tions, soil conditions, and other field conditions .
which were unknown or uncertain at the time the p].ans
were prepared.
HOWEVER, the Directos o£ Public Works shall not be auth-
or~.zed to approve change orders resulting in the increase in
cons~.ruction cos~s aggreqating more than the amount of con~-
tingencies prova.ded fpr a.n ~.he Amended ~ngineer's Report here-
tofore approved ~y thi.s Board of Supervisors.
