WHEREAS this Board ~eceived a communication dated August 27,
1970, from the Department o~ Parks and Reereation wherein this Board
was ad~rised that fihere is ava~.].able to the Cou.nty of Butte $5,000
for extension of previously approved state-1oca1 gran~ projects;
WHEREAS this Board believes that these funds could be
most efficien~Iy utilized for the benefit of the public at the Hooker-
Oak-Five Mile Zake and Rec~eational Area - State Project 804=20I -
Development situ.ated in Bidwell Park, City of Chico, California;
WHERELIS these £unds can be efficiently uta.Iized. for .
recreational development which will facilitate imznediate recreational
usage;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
That the $5,000 allocated to Butte County under ~he State
Beach, Park, Recreational anc3 Historical Facilities Bond Act of
1964 as described in the let~er from Department of Parks and Re-
creation of the State o~' California to Dr. 0. E. Dunaway, Chairman
of the Board of Supervisors, dated August 27, 1970, be allocated
to the Hooker Oaic-Five Mile Lake and Recreational Area - State
Projec~ 804-201 - Development situa~ed in Bidwell Park, City of Chico,
CaJ.ifornia, for expansion ofi' recreational facilities.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Super-
visors this 29th day of Segtember, 1970, by the following vote:
