RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CQNTRACT, PARADISE PINES
ASS~SSMENT D'ISTRICT NO. l, UNITS 1 AND 2, BiITTE

WHER~AS, by resolution adopted on the 21st day of July, ].970,
it was directed tha~ bids be called for the improvement work to be
done in Paradise Pines Assessment District No. 1, Units 1 and 2,
Butt~ County, California, and that ~.he time fixed for receiving
sealed bids or proposals was the llth day of August, 1970, at
the hour of 11:00 o'clock A.M. of said day; and
WHEREA5, Notice Inviting Sealed Bids was duly published in
the time and manner required by law; and
WH~REAS, a11 bids having been publicly opened., examined and
declared pertaining to the doing of the work and i.mprovements de-
scribed in the Resolution of Tntention, which Resoluti.on of Intention
is hereby expressly referr~d to for a description of said improvements,
and for all other particulars rel.ative to the proceedings under said
Resolution of Intention; and
ti~TfiEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of ~a.l.ifornia, on the 25th day of August, 1970, ordered the im-
provements to be made in said assessment distr9.ct; ~
NOW, THEREFORE, ~T IS HEREB~' RESOLVSA that the Board ot Super-
visors of the County of Butte, State o£ California, hex~eby rejects all
of saa.d proposals or bids, except ~hat herein menti.oned, and hereby
awards the contracti for said improvements to the lowest responsible
bidder, to wit:
BALDWIN CONTRACTING COASPZ~NY, INC., a corporation,
do5.ng business under the fictitious name and
sty~.e of BUTTE CREEK ROCK CO.,
At the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in ~he office of
the County Glerk of the Coun~y of Butte.

r HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County o£
Butte, State of California, at a regulaz meeting thereof, held on
the 29th 8ay of September, 1970, by the following vote, to wit:
