des3.gnat~ed, "Pxoposed Saundaries of Paradise Pines Unit.s No. S and 6
Assessmen~ District, County o~ Butte, Sta~e of California," whi.ch
said map is on file in the office o~ the County C~erk of the County
of Bu~te, is incorporated h~rein by this reference as though fu~.1x
set for~h herea.n.
2, The Certiticate of P~SURI2AY & MCCORMICK, INC., dated
the -20th daX of:October, 1970, cErti£ya.ng ~hat the petition
hereinabove referred to was signed by the owners of rnore than
sixty per cent (600) of.the area of the property described in
said petition, is incnrpara~ed herein by this refe~ence as ~hough

3. It is hereby ordered and de~ermined that the'terms

fornia, shal7. be Special Bond Counse~. ~o prepare all proceedings

served by the taking of~special assessment proceedings foz the
improvements and.acquisitions se~ forth in said p~titzon. The
cosc and expenses thereo~ should be borne by a dis~rict bene~ited
bx said improvements and acquasi~ionse Said dis~rict sha11 be
known and designated as Paradise Pines Units No. 5 and 6 Assessment
Distric~, County o~' Butte, S~.ate nf California.
6. The distrzct which shali bear the cost and expenses
of said improvements and acquisa.~ions, including a11 inci.dental
expenaes~, and ~.*hich is to be assessed to pay for tihe cost.of said
improveme~ts and acquisitions is ~hat distric~ shown on a map
which is jn fi].e in the office of the Coixnty Glezk of the.County
of Butte,i which is designated, "Proposed Boundas•ies of Paradise
Pines Units No. 5 and 6 Assessmenf. District, County of Buf.te, 5tate

7. Said special assessment proceedings are to be taken
under the provisions of the Municipal Improvemen~ Act o~` 1913 with
bonds to be issued under the provisions of the Improvement Act o€
19I1. •
8. The owners of property wi.thin the boundaries of
said proposed c~istrict have waived al]. ~roceeclings under the Spe-
cial Assessmenti Investigation, Limitata.on and Majority Pro~est

Act of 1931, and at zs therefore ordered and de~ermined that ~he
p~ovisions of said Act sliall not apply to these proceedznqs.
9. No contract for the construc~iQn of improvements
in ~his assessmen~ flis~ric~ sha1L be awaxded until improveinent
bonds are sold and delivered and the proceeds of such sale are
deposited with tl~e Countiy Treasurer.
