COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALI~'dRNIA
RESOLUTION OF TNTII~TTIOAT TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHERFAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2,
Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the
Baard of Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings
for the establishment of a county service area within the Coun~y
of Butte; and
WHEREAS, the LOCAL AGFNCY FORME~TION COMMISSION of the
County of Butte has approved the establishment of said Ser'vice
Area Noo 39,
NOW, THERIEFORE, BE IT RESOLVEB by the Board of Supervisoz
of the Coun~y of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1o That a county service area is proposed to be
established under the terms of the aforesaid ch.apter in the
unincorporated area of ~utte County; the boundary lines of the
territories proposed for inclusion in the area are more par~icularl
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
by reference as though fu11y set forth verbatim and at lengtkzo
2o That the name proposed for said county service area
is County Service Area No.39d
3o That there are no extended county services provided
in this areao
4. That the types of extended county services proposed
to be provided in this area is installat~.on of street lighting
loca~ed within the boundaries of the area described hereino
5, That a tax sufficient to pay for such services
which are furnished on an extended basis will be annrsally levied
upon a11 taxable property within such areao
6, Tnat on ~~L Z~- , 1970, at ,
~a public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area,
