BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of Ca].ifozn~a, as fol~ows:
The Director of Pub7.ic works wi.thout further auth-
orization of the Soard of Supervisors is hereby authorized to
order changes in the work to be done in Paradise Pines Units No. 5
and 6 Assessm~nt District, County of. Butte, State of Calitornia,
under the follotiving conditions: ~
. To correct clerical and technical errors in the plans;
To modify the design of the project wherever good
enqineering practice indicates that the modification
shou~d be made;
To adjust the design of the project to utility loca-
tions, soil conditions, and other fieid condi~ions
which were unknown or uncertain at the time the glans
were prepared. .
HOWEV~R, the Director of Public 6dorks shall not be
authorized to approve change orders resul~ing in the increase Y='`~
in construction costs aggregating more than the amount pf con-
tingencies provided for in the Amended Engineer's Report heze-
tiofore.approved by this Board of Supervisors.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the fozego~ng resolution was duly
