RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF BONpS
WH~REAS, ~he Bqard of Supervisors o~ the County of
Butte, Sta~e of California, has received a written proposal from
S~RR, WILSON & CO., INC., offering to purchase improvement bonds
to be issued by the County of Butte to represent unpaid assess-
ments levied pursuant to the Resolution of Intention, as amended,
for Paradise P~.r.es Units No. 5 and 6.Assessment District, adopted
by the Board o~ Supervisors of the County of Butte on the 20th day
of October, 1970, for payment of ~.he improvemen~s and acquisitions
and all pf the incidental. expenses in connection therewith, in sa9_d
Paradise Pines L'nits No. 5 and 6; and
LVHEREAS, it is t~e opinion of this Board that the public
interest and convenience wil.l be served bv accepting the offer of
the said BIRR, WILSON & CO., TNC., dated November 24, 1970, and
will also be served by selling the saa.d bonds at the price therein
named;
~IOWr THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the proposal of
BTRR, WILSON & CO., INC., dated November 24, 1970, be, and the
same is hereby accepted and that the bonds be, and they are hereby
ordered sold to BIRR, WILSdN & CO., INC., in the amount and subjecf~
to the ~erms and conditions sta~.ed in ~he bid of the said BIRR,
WILSON & CO, INC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ~hat the interest rate of said bonds
be, and the same is hereby fixed at the rate sta~.ed in said bid,
and that said bonds shall be dated the 2nd day of January, 1971,
and shall bear interest from that date. -
