WHEREAS, ALBERT J. WALSH has served the people of the
Covnty of Butte very ably from October 1968 as County Planning
Director, and had previ.ously served from September 1963 as
Assistant Planning Director,
WHEREAS, ALBERT J. WAZSH also served on the Oroville
City Council from Ap~i~. 14, 194I, through April 11, 1949, and
again from March 28, 1958, through September 3, 1963,
WHEREAS, he was aleo a member of the o~ov~iie City
Planning Commission from Apri1 1943 through Septesnber 1963 and
was Chairman from April 19~9 until his re,signation ~o go to work
for the Countyo He was on the Butte Coun.ty Planning Cotnmission
from 1950 to September 1963 sit~ing as Chairman for 7 yearso
NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED by this Board of
Supervisors:
1. That ALBERT J. WALSH be commended and thanked on
behalf of the people of the County of Butte for his conscientious
and faithfui devotion to duty both as member and director of ~he
Butte County Plannz.ng Commissian.
2, That this resolution be sent to AZBERT J. WALSH also
with ~he special appreciation of this Board of Supervisors for
his unstin~ing devotion. to duty and his excellent advice to this
Board on planning and zoning matters.

visors this 24th day of November, 1970, by the following vote:
