WHEREAS, Public Util~.ties Code sec~ion 21670 et seq ca11s
for the creation of an airport land use commission;
WHEREAS, Public Utilities Code section 2i670.1 allows
the Soard of Supervzsors of the County and the mayors of the cities
of the county each to make a designation of an app~'opriately
designated body ~o serve as an airport land use commission;
NOW THEREFQRE, BE IT RESOZVED by this Soard that the
Planning Commission of the County of Butte shall assume the planning
responsibilities of an ai~ort land use commission as provided for
in Pv.blic Utilities Code section 21670 et seq.
FASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 24th
