REPORT OR STATEMENT TO ANY DEPARTMENT OR AGENCY

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for any person to
knowingly falsify or conceal any fact, or make any false or fraud-
ulent statement or misrepresentation in any matter or proceeding
within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the County
of Butte.
SECTION 2: It shall be unlawful for any person to
knowingly use any false or misleading writing or document in any
matter or proceeding within the jurisdiction of any department or
agency of the County of Butte.
SECTION 3: Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
'.conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not exceeding FIVE
HUNDRED I~OLT~ARS ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the County Tail
not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment,'
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days after its passage, it shall be published with the names of
the members voting for and against it at least once in a local
newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California on the 15th day of May,
_1961, by the following vote:

Chairznsn Gales

ABSENT : None
NOT VOTING: None
