BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman of th.e Boaxd of
Supervisors is hereby authorized to execute the attached
amended Cooperative Agreement 69-54H54 in furtherance o~'
Resolution No. 70-35 passed and adopted by this Board on
March 17, 1970.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of

~F[~S Af3REEl~NT AMENDMENT, mede in quadruplicate, this day
p~' , 19_, by and between BUTTE COt3NTY, hereinafter
re~erred to as the "Local Agency" and the STATE 4F CA~IFORNIA, acting
by and through the Department of Public Worka, hereinafter referred
to as the "Department",

WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 52, Ststutes of 1969 and the
Emergency Flood Relief Law, the pa.rti.es hereto on March 17, 1970,
entered in~o Cooperative Agree~sent 69-54H5~+ arranging for ~inancial
aasistance in meeting aosta to repair or res~ore storm and flood
damage or deatruction which occurred between Noverabex 1, 1968, and
September 1, Z96g, to certain rea3. proper~y liated in the Local
Agency's Appl3.cation 69-5~H54 to the Sta~e Al~ocat~.on Board; and
WHEREAS, purauant to said Chapter 52, Statutes of 1969
and the ~mergency Flood Relief,` Law, the parties hereto now desire
to amend said Agreement 69-54H54 to arrange additional financing
nece~~ary to complete the work as planned, ~
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed that Paragraphs 1 and 5 of
Artio].e II, SPECIAL PROVISIONS of Agreement 69-54H54 is hereby
amended to be as Pollows:
ARTICLE II - Spec3al Proviaions
1. The work consists of the repair and restora~ion of
a road in ~he County Road System of Bu~te County, as detailed
hereunder with estimated epata in which State funds may be used:
