for the purpose of conducting studies, preparation of plans and
specifications and the construction and maintenance of drainage
facilities wifihin the boundaries of the area, the boundaries of which
are described in ~hibit "'A"', attached hereto and made a par~ hereof
by reference; and
WHEREAS, prior to the consideration of the Board of Super~
visors and the Resolu~ion of Intention, it is necessary to obtain the
comment of the Local Agency Formation Commission,
NOW, THER~FORE, BE IT RESpT,VED by the Butte Cour~ty Board of
Supervisors that they intend to co~.sider a Resolution of Intention
to establish a county service area for the purpose of conducting
studies, preparation of plans and specifications and the construction
and maintenance of drainage facilities within said area pursuant to
Government Code Section 25210.~(a), contained within the boundaries
described in Exh~it "RA'", attached hereto and made a part hereof by
reference. '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that by this resolution the Board of
Supervisors submit the proposal to kh.e Local Agency Fo~ation Com-
mission for their actions at their nex~ regularly held meeting.

WHEREAS, two members of the Board of .Supervisors of the Cour~ty
