RESOLUTION APi?OINTING THE BUTTE COi3NTY COORDTNATTNG
COUNCIL ON MENTAL RE~~ARD,ATIpN AND RELATED DISORDERS
AS THE COUNTY PLANNING ,AGE~ICY TO BE CHARGED WITH
THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEVELOPTNG 71 MEN'~AL RETARDATION

WHEREAS, this Board finds that the Butte County Co-
ordinating Council on Mental Retar-dation and Related Disorders
taould qualify as the County planning agency to be charged with the
respans~.bi].iry for developing amental retardation plan, and
WHER~',~.5, the aforementioned organization has done con-
siderable work in the area and would appear to be exceedingly
well qualified to carry out the function re£erred to herein.
NQW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED by this Board ~hat ~he
Butte County Coordinating Council on Mental Retardation and
Related Disorders is hereby appointed as the County Planning
agency charged with the responsibility for developing a:men~al
retardation p1an.
PAS.SED ANB ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Super -
visors ~his 12th day of January , 197I, by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Gilman, Madigan, Maxon, McKillop,
and Chairman Reynolds
