RESOLUTION IN APPRECIAT~ON OF PUBLIC SERVICES RENDERED

WfiEREAS, ARLEY L. HOWSDEN has most ably represented citizens
of the County of Butte; arid
, WHIItEAS, the services to the County of ARLEY L. HOWSDEN have
been outstanding and e~cemplary during the ~ive years in which the
Countg has had the privilege of his faithful service; and

WHEREAS, ARLEY L. HOWSDEN chose no~ to seek re-election as
Sutte County Supervisors ofDistrict No.2; and
WHIIZEAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
has ordered ~his Resolution in appreciation of ARLEY L. HOWSDEN'S
outstanding services to th~ people of the County of Butte,
NOW, ~H~REFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of
5upervisors of ~he County o~ Butte, State of California, as follows,
to wit:
1. That ARLEY L. HOWSAEN has rendered valuable and faithful
services to the County of Butte during his five•years as Supervisor.
2. That ,ARLEY L. HOWSDEN has brouglt eredit and recngnition
to the Gounty o~ Butte through his exemplary devotion to duty.
3. That this board wishes to express its sincere ap-
preciation on its own behalf, as well as on behalf of the citizens
of Butte County, to ARLEY L. HOWSDEN, for his outstanding public
service as a Supervisor.
4. That the Clerlc of this Board is author~.zed to certify
