it advisable to sell the following property, to wit:
°'A portion of Lot 36 of tne Third Subdivision of the John Bidwell
TZancho, according to the ~fficial Map thereof on file in the office
of the Recorder o~ the County of Butte, State of California, in
Book 5 of Maps at Page 8, more parti.cular~.y described as follows:
Commencing at the most easterly corner o£ Lot 37 of the sazd Bidwell
Third Subdivision, said corner being also the intersectian of the
centerline of Nord Avenue (shown as Grant Avenue on the above,saa.d
map) with the northerly right of way line of ."the ~outhern Pacific
Railroad (formerly the Califarnia and Oregon Railroad); thence
N 60° 49' 00'° W along said railroad right of way line 33.96 feet;
thence N 28° 49' SO~~ ~, 14.62 feet to the said centerline of Nord
Avenue and the Tru.e Point of Beginning; thence N 37° 30' 20'f ~W al.ong
said centerline, 183.20 teet; thence 'S 60° 31' 36" E, 147.97 feet;
thence along the arc o~ a tangent 20.00 foot radius curve, concave
to the west, through a central ang7.e of 89° 21' 26", a distance ot
31.19 feet; thence 'S 28° 49' 50~p W, 51.87 feet to the True Point of
Beginning.
Contain.ing an area of Q.136 acres, more or less.
Reserving f~om the above-desc~ibed parcel., a public utility easement
aver, under, across and through the property described herein."'
I~OW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that it is the intention of th.9.s
Soard to sell the aforementioned property at a minimum price of $272.00, in cash
TT IS F[IRTIiER RESOLVED that on the 9th day of March, 1971, at
11:00 a.m., a public meeting of the Board of S~pervisors of the County of
Butte will be held at the regular place of ineeting of said Board, at which
proposals to purchase will be recezved and considered.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
9th day of February, 1971, by the following vote:
