to under~ake a Regiona~ Polygraph Center to be funded in part from
fuz~ds mad.e available ~hrough the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets
,Act of 1968 admi.n.istered by the California Council on Criminal Justice,
NOW, THEI2EF'OTtE, BE IT RESOLVED that the District Attorney
of t?~e County of Butte is authorized to submit the attached Application
for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to the California Council on
Cr~.m~.nal Justice fox its consideration, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLV~D that in the event that ~he California
Council on Criminal Justice consents to fund the project, the Dist rict
Attorney is authorized to execute on behalf of the County of Butte
the contract for the grant far law 2nforcement purposes.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the app3.icant agrees~to provide
the required matching funds to said projecto
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED tha~ grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to supplant ongoing law enforcement expenditures.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 23r~ day of February~ 1971, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Madigan, Maxon, McKillop, and Chairman
