RESOLUTION OF TNTENTION TO ESTABLISI~ COUNT'Y SIIZVICE AREA '
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2,
Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the S~ate o~' California,'the
Board o~ Superv~.sors of Butte County have instituted proceedings
for the establisk~ment of a county se~vice area within the County
of B~tte; and
WHEREAS, the ZOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION of the
County of Butte has approved the establishment of said Service
Area No. 40.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV~~ by' the Board of Super-
visors of the County o~ Butte, State of California, as follows:
l. That a county service area i~s proposed to be
established under the terms o~ tne aforesa~.d Chapter in the
unincorporated area of Ba~~te County; the boundary' Iines of the
territories proposed for inclusion in the area are more particulax-
ly c~escribed in Exhibit "A'~ attached hereto and made a part '
hereof by reference as thaugh fully set fo~th verbatim and at
Iength.
2. That the name proposed for said county service area
is County Service Area No. 40. -
3. 'Shat there are no extended county services provided
in thi.s area.
4. That the types o£ extended county services proposed
to be pxovided in this area is installation of street lighting
located within the boundaries of the area described herein.'
5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services
which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied
upon a11 taxable property within such area.
6. That on qp~~l 20,~,,. , 1973:~, at 11:00 a.m: ,
a public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.
