WHEREAS, the Board of SuQervisors of Butte County deems it advisable
to sell the £oliowing property, to wit:
Parcel C- Surplus ProQerty (Olive flighway @ Oroville-Quincy Hwy.):

o£ California, descrzbed as £ollows:
$eing a portion of Lot 149, as shown on that certain map entitled
"Official Map of Oroville-Wyandotte Fruit Lands, Unit No. 5" which
map was recorded on July 20, 1928, in Baok 8 of ~1aps, at pages 37-A
and 38-A, BuCte County Official Records, more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the most westerly corner of said Lot 149, said corner
being on the centerline of Olive Highway (formerly Oroville-Forbestown~
LaPorte Road) on a 1000 foot radius curve (radial Line to said curve
at said corner bears N 24°19`34"E); thence sautheasterly along said
centerline of Olive Highway, along the arc of said 1fl00 foot radius
curve, concave to the south Chrough a cenCral angle of 2~43'3b", an
arc length of 47059 feet to the southwest corner of that certiain
parcel of land conveyed to Butte County by deed recorded Novembe~ 13,
1967~ fn Book 1494 at page 362, Butte County 0£ficial Records ~radia~
line to said curve at this point bears N 27°03'10"E?; thence leaving
said centerline of Olive Highway N 63°32'39"E along the northwesterly

BBGINNING of the herein-described parcei; thence continuAng

the northeasterly line of said parcei 91,42 feet to the most eastexly

SEGINNTNG.
Containing an area of Oo677 acre, more or less.
NOW, THEREFORE, ZT IS RESOLVED that it is the intention of this Board
to sell•the aforementioned property at the appraised price of $8,900.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that on the bth day o£ April, 1971, at
11:00 a,m., a publfc meeting of Che Board of SuperVisors of Butte County will
be held at the regular place of ineeting of said board, at which proposals to
purchase will be received and considered,
