This matter came on regularly for hearing before the Board
of 5upervisors o~ the County of Butte, State of Californi.a, on
March 23, 1971, in the Supervisors' room of the Butte County Court-
house tronting on Huntoon Street, in Orovil.l.e, California, Butte
County, and it appearing tv said baard that a Notice of Intention
and Resolution to Abandon County Highwray and Notice of Time and
Place of Hearing of said Abandonment was duly and regularly given
as required by law, and testimony and eviden.ce, both oral and
documentary, having been produced at said hearing, fram which said
Board now finds that the hereinafter described County Highway is
unnecessary for present and prospective use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS H~REBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the County Highway situate in the Co~xnty of Butte,
State of California, as hereinafter mare particularly described,
is hereby abandoned..
2. That the description of said County Highway so abandoned
is situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
"AI1 that portion of Ackerman Av~enue lying wester].y of
the westerly line o~ T~ot b as shown on that map entitled
"Revised Map of Ackerman First Subdivision: recarded in
Book 2 of Maps at page 26, Novemb~ 16, 1894, in the
office of the Butte County Recorder."
3. That the Clerk of this Board sha11 cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with t1h.e eeal o£ the Board of Supervisors
of the Countq of Butte, to be reCOrded in the office of the Recorder
af the County of Butte, State of California.
