This matter came on regularly for hearing before the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on
March 23, 1971, in the Supervisors' Room of the Butte County Court-
house fronting on Huntoon Street, in Qroville, Califo~nia, Butte Cou~ty,
and it appearing to said board that a Notice of In~ention and
Resolution to Abandon County Highway and Notice of Time and P1ace of
Hearing of Said Abandonment was duly and regularly given as required
by law, and testimony and evidence, both oral and doeumentary,
having been produced at said hearing, from which said Board now finds
that the hereinafter described County Highway is unnecessary for
p~esent and prospective use;
NOW, TEiEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1, That the County Higl~way situate in the County of Butte,
State of California, as hereinafter more particulary described, is
hereby abandoned.
2. That the description af sa~d County Highway so abandoned
is situate in ~he Cou.nty of Butte, State of California, and more
paxticularly described as follows:
"Abandonment of;" that portion of East Lindo Avenue described
as follows:
A stirip of land fifty feet (50) wide lying northwesterly of
and adjacent to the narthwester7.y line of Lot 17 of the
Sharp Subdivision as shown in Map Book ~1 on~:~'ages 7 and 8,
filed in the af~ice of the ~utte County Recorder on September 19,
1963, bo~nded on the northwest by the northwesterly pro-
longation of the northeasterly right of way line of Sheridan
Avenue and bounded on the ~ortheast by the southwesterly right
of waq line of State Freeway 99."
3, That the Clerk af this Board shall cause a certified copy
of this Rasolntion, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, to be recarded in the office of the Recorder of
the Caun~y of Butte, State of Cal3farnia,
