BE ZT RESOLVED by the Boarc3 of Supervisors of the County -
of Butte~ State of California, as fol.lows:
1. Pe~iY.ion for the construction af improvements and
acquisitions to be made by special assessment proceedings within
the boundaries o~ the map designated, "Proposed Boundaries of
Paradise Pines Units No. 4 and 8 Assessment District, Butte County,
California,° which said map is on file in the office of tihe County
Clerk of the County of Butte, is incorgoratEd herein by this reference

2. The Certificate of MURRAY & f•7CCORMICK, INC., dated
the 9th day of Octobex, 1970~ certifying that the petition herein-
above referred to was signed by the owners of more than sixty
per cent (60v) ot the area of the prooerty described in said peti-
t~on, is incorporated herein by this reference as though ful~y ~
set forth herein.
3. It is hereby ordered and determined that the terms
and condi~ions of said petition heretofore incorporated herein
be, and they are hereby accepted; that the improvements and acquisitions
shall be made in accordance with the terr.is of said pe~ition; that
the assessment district proceedings shali be instituted and carried
through in accordance with the terms of said getition.
• 4, It is hereby found, determineu and ordered that the
Director of Public Works of the Counfy of Butte sha11 be Engineer
nf L~iork, and that the firm of .MURRAY & MCCORMICK, TI~IC. , shall be the
Project Engineez in accordance with tihe terms and conditions of
the contract to be entered into.

It is turther ordered that STURGIS, DEN-DULK, DOUGLASS & ANDERSON,
Attorneys at Law, Oakland, Califoznia, shall he Special Bond Counsel
to prepare alI proceedings in accordance with ~he ter~s and condi~-
tions o£ the contract to be entered into.
5. That the public interest ~zll be --_

served by the taking of specia]. assessme~nt praceedings for the
improvements and acquisitions set forth i.n said petition. The
cost and expenses thereof should be borne by a dis~.rict benef.ited
by said improvements and acquisitions. Said district shall be
kno~an and design.ated as Paradise Pines Units No, 4 and 8 Assessment
District, County of Butte, S~ate of California.
6. Th~a district which sha11 bear the cost and expenses
o~ said improvement5 and acquisitions, including a11 incidental
expenses, and which is to be assessed to pay for the cost of said
impzovemen~s and acquisztions is ~.hat district shown on a map .

• 7. Said special assessment proceedings are to be taken
under the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913
with bonds to be issued under the provisions of the Improvement Act of
1911. ~
8. No contract ~or the canstruction o~ improvements in
this assessment district shal]. be awarded un~il improvement bonds are
sold and delivered and ~he pxoaeeds of such sale are deposited with
the County Treasurer.
