W~iFREAS, tk-is bill seriaus~y infringes on the riglits of
the public, ti~rough their elected representatives to make the final
determination regarding wages, hours and working conditions for
public safety employees.
NOW, 'TH~12~'OR'r', ~i IT Ri~SOLV~.D:
1. That tha.s Board strangly opposes 58 333 and respe~~fully
reqexests tha~ the Lega.slature defeat thi.s proposed legislation.
2. Tha~ a copy of this Resolution be sent to '.~'he Hono~abl.e
~'red Marler, State Senator, The Honorable Ray Johnson, Assemblyman,
and to such other parties as this Board may direct.
