RESOLUTION IN APPRECiATION OF WILLIAM 1'ETIIiSON
WHEREAS, WII.LIAM PETERSON has served the U. S. Forest Service
with dist~.nction and with unselfish devotion for aver 27 years; and
WEIEREAS, i~TILLIAM PETER50N ha s been tYee Forest Supervisor
ot tihe Plumas National Forest for 24 years, havi.ng previously been
Forest 5upervisor af the San Bernadino National Forest; and
~ WHEREAS, WILLIAM P~,Tr.RSON is a member of the Board of Directors
for Region III of the California Council on Criminal Justice; and
WHIItF~,AS, WILLIAM PETII2SON is also a member of the Trail
Riders; an ac~ive Rotarian and aEtive in many advisory committees.
NOW, THIItEFORE, BE IT R~,SOLVED by the Baard of 5upervisors
of the County of Sutte, State of California, a s foYlows:
~. That'this Board wishes to express its sincere appreeiation
on its own behalf, as we11 as on behalf of the citizens of Butte
County, to WILLIAP~ PET~.RSON, for his outstanding p~blic service.
2. That the Clerlc of this Board is authorized to certify
and deliver to WILLI~IM P~TERSON a copy of this Resalution as a
testimonial of the sentiments of the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte.
