the Legislature the salary rates for the Chico Municipal Court
employees,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, as £ol].ows:
1. That the Eoard respectfully recommends that the following
legislation be passed:
74936. Clertc; cor~pensation
There shall be one clerk wha sha~,l receive the salary
specified in range No. 13.0.
74937. Clerk; deputy clerks; appointiment; corapensatian
The clerk may appoint two typist-clerk III who shall be
deputy clerks and sha11 receive the sa~ary specified in range
No. 10.0; there shall be one stenographer-clerk II wha sha13.
be a deputy clerk and shall receive the salary specified in
range No. 9.0, and three typist-clerk II, who shall also be
deputy clerks and shall receive the salary specified in
range Na. 8,0. Additional deputy c~.erks may be appointed as
are required with ~he consent of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of But~e, and shall receive the saiary specitied
in range No. 8.0.
74938. Marshal; compensation
There shall be one marshal who shall receive the
salary specified in range No. 19.0.
74939. Marshal; deputy tnarshal; clerk; appointment; compen-
sation
~'he marshal. rnay appoint one depcsty ~arshal who shall
receive the salary specified in range No. 15.5 and one
stenographer-clerk II who shall receive the sa~ary specified
in ra-nge 9.0, and who shall serve as clerk to the marshal:and
one typist-clerk II who shall receive the salary specified
in range 8.0 who shall be a deputy clerk. With the consezat
of the Board of Supervisors of the Cocuity of Butte, the marshal
may appoint additional deputies as is required, which
additionai deputies shall receive the sa~.ary specified in
range No. 15.5.
74940. Salary schedule
Whenever reference is made to a range in any sectim of
this article, the following schedule of monthly salar3.es
shall apply:
