TH~ ~MPROVEMENTS AND ACQUISITIONS TO BE MADE IN
PARADTSE PINES UNITS N0. 4 AND 8 ASSESSMENT
DIS~RTCT, SU2'TE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA __~
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, has adopted a map sho~aing the bound-
aries of proposed Paradise Pines Units No. 4 and 8 Assessment
District, Butte County, Calzfornia, which said map is entitled,
"Proposed Boundaries of Paradise Pines Uni~s No. 4 and 8 Assessment
Dis~ric~, Butte County, Ca~iforn~a;" and
WHEItEAS, the owners o~ nare than sixty per cent (600)
o~ the real pr.operty wi~hin the boundaries of said proposed asse~s-
ment district have waived all inves~igatzon proceedings under the
Special ~ssessment Investigat~on, Limitation and tdajority Protest
Act of ~931 and have requested that sazd Act shal~ no~ be appli-
cable ~o these proceedings;
NpW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of ~the County of Butte, State o~ California, as ~ollows:
1, That Tuesday, the 8th day of June, 1971, at tihe hour
of 10:30 o'clock A.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the day and
hour, and the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors af the County
of Butt~, located in the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville,
Califori:ia, as the place, when and wheze any and alI persons inter-
ested may appear and show cause why the Soard of Supervisors should
not find and determine that the public convenience and necessity
require the said proposed improvements and acquisitions to be made
in said proposed assessment district, without compliance with the
, provisions of the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation
and Piajority Protest Act.of 1931.

2, The Coun~y Clerk of the County of. Butte is hereby
directed to give notice of the time.and place of said hearing in
the following mannaz:
By puhlishing a No~ice of Improvement, said publication
to be not less than ~0 days prior ~o the date of said
hearing;
~y postinq a copy of_ the Notice of Impzovement at or
near the place of ineeting of the Board o£ Supervisors
for five (5) days prior to t~e time of saxd hearing.

I HEREnY CERTTFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regu~arly adopted by the Board of Supervi5ors of the County of
Butte, Stiate of Californza, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 4th day of riay, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
