its regular meeting; and
IaHEREAS, it is~the Board's intention to make this p~ocedure more
convenient for the proposed bidders and for the public; and
WHEREAS, Section 1073 of the Streets and Highways Code permits ~he
Board of Supervisors to authorize by resolution that bids be opened,
examined and declared by official designated in said resolution;
NOW, THII2EFORE, BE IT RESO~V~D ~hat the Board of Supervisors does
authorize and so designate the Direc~or of Public Works to open and examine
such Public Works bids in an open public meeting at the office of the
Director of Public Wo~rke of th.e County of Butte, ~7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, California). The Board fu~ther resolves that said bids sha11 be
received and opened publicly at 11:00 aomo on Thursdays prior to the next
regular Boaxd meeting, at wl~ich time the results of the bidding sha1.1 be
reported to the Board for its consideration and necessary action.
