RESOLUTTON OVERRULING PROTESTS

WHEREAS, on the 4th day of May, 1971, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, ac~opted
its resolution fixing time and place for hearing on ~he Engineer's
Report in Paradise Pines Units No. 4 and 8 Assessment Distxict,
Butte County, California; and -
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 8th day of June, 1971,
at the hour of 10:30 o'clock A.M, of said day at the meeting place
of the Soard of Supervisors of the County of Butte, located in
the•Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, as the time
and place ~or hearing protests with relation to the proposed
improvements and acquisitions described in the Engineer's Regort,
the grades to wha.ch the work will be done, the extent of the assess-
ment district, the assessment or ~he Engineer's Estimate of Cost
and expenses, or any other act or determination of tYce Engineer
of Work of said assessment district; and
WEiEREAS, protests os objections were filed in writing
by certain persons, firms or corporations who were interested in
certain of the property within ~he boundaries of said district,
which said protests or objections were delivered to the County
Clerk not 3.ater than the hour set for hQaring such objectians;
and
' WHER~AS, a~ the tiime set for hearing the protests and
objections, said Board of Supervisors of ~he County of Butte
con~inued the hearing to Tuesday, the 22nd day of June, 1971, ~
at the hour of 10:30 o'clock A.M.; and
~ WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of ,3une, 1971, said

hearing was held and all of the protests or ob~ections of every
kind and nature having been heard and duly considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, ZT IS H~RESY RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County oE Butte, State of Califozn~.a, that
all~of said pro~ests and objections of every kind or natuXe
be, and the same aa~e hereby, overruled or denied; and
IT IS HEREBY FUR'PHER RESOLVED that the Board of Super-
visors finds that said protests and objections are mac~e by the
owners of Zess than one--half of the area of the property to
be assessed for said improvemen~s.

I HEREBY CERTZFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regu].arZy adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County af
Butte, State of California, at a regular meating thereo£, held on
the 22nd day of ,7une, 197~. by the fol~owing vote, to wit:
