B~ TT R~SOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the Ccunty
of Butte, State of California, as follows:

~wi~.hout further authora.zation of the Board of Supervisors is
hereby authorized to order changes in the work to be done in
Paradise Pines Units No. 4 and 8,Assessment Distriet, Butte Co~ty.

California, under the following conda.tions:
To correct cierical and technical errors in the p3.ans;
To modify the design of the project wherever good
engineering practice indicates tkiat the modification
should be made;
To adjust the desi.gn of the project to uti].ity loca-
tions, soil conditions, and other field conditians
which were unkno~an or uncertain at the time the plans
were prepared.
" HO~tiTEVER, the ]7irector of Public works shall not be
authorized to approve change orders resulting in the increase
in construction cost5 aggregating more t17an ~en per cent (10$) of
construction costs provided far in the Amended Engineer's Repor~
heretdfore approv~d by this BoarB of Supervisors.

T HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolu~ion was duiy
and regularly adopted by ~he Board of Supervisors of the Count~~
of Butte, State of Ca].i.fornia, at a regular meeting thereof, held
