for local law enforcement personnel, the costs of which are fully
reimbursable under various programs designed to promote and advance
effective law enforcement procedures; and
WiiER~AS, certain fees and costs of such ~raining programs
are frequently required to be paid in advanceo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID that, pursuant to Tzt1e 3,
Division 3, Chapter 2, Article 2, of the Government Code, a Sheriff's
Law Enforcement Personnel Training Fund is hexeby estab].i.shed in the
amount of Five Thousand Dollars.
BE IT FURTHIl~ 12ESOLV~D that exper~.ditures from said ftind
shall be made only for services and materials used in training per-
sonnel of the Butte County Sheriff's Department under programs providing
100°o reimbursement to the County of Butte, said reimbursement to be
made by the Sheriff on a quarterl y basis.
B~ TT FURTHER RESOLVED that ~.he Auditor of the County of
Butte is hereby authorized to immediately draw the necessary warrant
or warrants on the general fund o~' the County and thereby establish
said revolving fund provided that no expenditures from said fund be
authorized unti:[. the bond required by Government Cade §29323 ~s ~iled
with the Clerk in a forin satisfactory to Caur~~y Counse~..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies o~ this resolution
be forwarded to the Sheriff, Auditor and Treasurer of the County ot
Butte.
