RESOLUTIOI~I AiJTHORIZI.~G C'~IATRMAN TO ~.XECUTE CONTR.ACT
FOR GRANT FOR REGIONAL POT.YGRAPH CENTER
WHIItEAS, the Butte Coun~y Board of Supervisors desires to
undertak.e to participare i.n Regional Polygraph Center Number 0513
to be funded in part from funds m~de available through the Omnibus
Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 administered by the
California Council on Crimina~ Justice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 2T RESOT.VED that as the Califarr~a Council
on Criminal Justice has consented to fund the above project, the
Butte County Board of Supervisors agrees to accept the grant and
~,~-~-~~esignates the Chairman, Butte County Board o~ Superviso~s, ~o
execc~te on behalf af Butfie Coun~y ~he contract for the grant for
law enforcement purposes.
BE IT FURTHIIt RESOLVED that tne appli.cant agrees to provide
the ~equired matching funds to said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds reeeived hereunder
shall not be used to suppl.ant ongoing la~r enforcement expenditures,
PASSED AND ADOP'~ED by the ~utte County Board of Supervisors
this ~9_~~i day of June9 1971, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Gilman, Madigan, Maxon, McKillop, and
Chairman Reynolds
