WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter
3 0~ the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
es~ablishment o~ a county service are w~thin the County of Btit~e;
and
WHEREAS, the LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION CONJMISSION of the
County of Butte has approved the establishment of said Service Area
No. 420
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE TT RESO~VED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
lo That a county service area is proposed to be establish-
ed under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated
axea of Butte County; the boundary lines of ~he territories proposed
for inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibi~
"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as ~hough
fully set fortn verbatim and at length.
20 ~'hat the proposed name for said county serviee is
County Service Area No. 42.
3. Tha~ there are no extended county services provided
in this area.
4. That the types of extended county se~vices proposed
to be provided in this area is for the purpose of design and studies,
pursuant to Goverz~ment Code Section 25210.4(a), located within ~he
boundaries of the area described herein.
5, That a tax sufficient to pay for such sezvices which
are furnished on an extended basis zai11 be annually levied upon all
taxable property within such az'easy proviaed, howevex, thae this Board may pay
for any improvemenC referred to herein, pursuant to Government Code SecCion 252I0.77(a)o
