Smith to allow the abandonment of a portion of a public highway
as descr9.bed below,
W~iEREAS, piirsuant to the authority vested in this Board
under Government Code §§54430 et seq, this Board wishes to
declare its intention to abandon a portion of a public highway
as desc~ibed belaw.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on A•~gu~st ~b' , 1971, at 1I:00 a.m., in
the Board Chambers, Caurthouse, Oroville, a hearing sha11 be
held on the abandonment of the follawing described pubJ.ic highway:
A portion of Saeramen~o Street and also a portion of
T'aylor Street lying in the Town of Nord, as shown on
the map entitled p°Town of Nordt` recorded in Book 1
at Page 8 in Maps of Records in the o£fice of the
Recorder, County of Butte, State of California.
Being more particularly described as folloc,rs, to wit:
That portion of Sacramento Street lying south of
Jaclcson Street being west of and para11e1 with th.e west
line of Bloclc J, Town of Nord, also that portion o~
Taylor Street lying west of Market Street, being south
of and parallel with the south line of Block J,
Town of Nord.
2o That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Government Code §§50440 and 5~441,
PASSED AND ADOPTEB by the Butte County Board of Super-
visars this 20th day of July, 197I, by the following vote:
