DISTRICT, BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, ttie Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, has ado9ted a maa showing the boundaries of
proposed Paradise Pines Units No. 10, 11 & 15 Assessment District,
Butte County, California, which said map is entitled, "Proposed
Boundaries of Paradis~ Pines Units No. 10, 11 & 15 Assessment
Aistrict, Butte County, Cali~ornia;" and
j+THEREAS, the owners of more than sixty per cent (60~) of
the real property within the boundaries of said proposed assessment
distra.ct have waiv~d all investigation proceedings under the Spe-
cial Assessmen~ Inves~igation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act
of 1931 and have requested that said Act shail not be applicable
~o these proeeedings;
NO~rT, THEREk`ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of 5upervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Ca~.ifornia, as follows:
1. That TuesdaX, the 24th day of Augus~, , 1971,
at the hour of 10:30 o'clock.A.M. o~ said day, is hereby fixed as the
day and hour, and the meeti.ng place of the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, located in the Butte County Caur~house, OrovilZe,
„ Calz~oznia~ as the place, ~ahen and where any and all persons inter-
ested may appear and show cause why the Board of Supervisors should
not find and determine that the pubAic convenisnce and necessa.ty
requir~ the said proposed improvements and acquisitions to be made
in said proposed assessment district, caithout compliance with the
pxovisions of the SpeciaZ Assessment Investigatipn, I,zmitatiqn and
Majority Protest Act of 1931.

2. The County Clerk ot the County o~ Butte is hereby directed
to give notice of the time and place of said hearing in the follow-
ing manner:
By publishing a NQtice of Improvement, said nublication
to be not less than 10 days prior to the date of said
hearing;
By posting a copy o~ the Notice of imprnvement ati or
near the place of ineeting of the Board of Supervisors
for five (5) days priar to the time of said heari~g.
